Scout Cold Brew is a a beverage company that makes cold brew coffee. The brand is themed around camping, a love for the forest, and a beaver named "Scout". Deliverables for this project include a logo, package design, and merchandise.
I drew inspiration from camp attire including the neck tie, hat, and axe. The Scout logo is also designed to look like a camp badge.
The logo started out as many variations of sketches and the best version was vectorized in Illustrator using the pen tool and a variety of shapes. I created the black and white version first, then added the brand's earthy brown, green, and red colour palette.
I also created labels for a slim tall can and glass jar in Illustrator.
The jar and slim tall cans were made using 3D modelling tools in Illustrator. I used a variety of 3D materials to make the containers look realistic. I also used the 3D tools to apply the labels onto the objects as graphics.
For the merchandise, I chose to design a cooler to store the cold brew coffees while camping. I also made a pattern for the neck tie including the Scout beaver, Scout text, axe, and log.
